I was in a church praying when suddenly two young girls appeared. The one looked like she was 5 or 6 while the other was 11 to 13. I was about to ask who they were when suddenly they both had black eyes, long pointed teeth, terrible looking long fingernails with blood on their hands and faces. They revealed themselves to be vampires. I immediately started to run away from these terrible figures into the church bathroom. It was then that I locked myself in one of the stalls, when suddenly they came into the bathroom and walked right up to the stall i was inside. The older of the two tapped on the metal door with her terrible nails and suddenly the door was broken open by them. The older girl had a large needle in her hand and said if I let them take my blood whenever they want they wouldn't kill me. I didn't want to but I was scared and didn't know what to do. The younger girl grabbed my arm with dried blood on her hands and the older stabbed my arm with the needle taking the blood they wanted. They left with the blood and I was alone, when suddenly they came back through the door with another needle and this one was even bigger than the last one. The older girl approached the stall and tapped on the metal with her terrible nails and said we want more. Before I could say anything the younger girl grabbed my arm again and they repeated the process again. They did this a few more times each time happening in the same way, the terrible tapping of her fingernails on the metal door and the needle only kept getting bigger. Finally after so many times I asked them if there was anything else I could possibly do besides being a human blood bag for them and the older girl answered immediately and said that I can start finding the people they can kill every night instead. I was reviled by this idea of feeding them innocent people and refused and as soon as I did the little girl grabbed my arm again and the older was about to jamm the needle in my arm but I awoke for my sleep in great fear.
Dreams often serve as reflections of our subconscious thoughts, emotions, and fears. Your dream contains several powerful symbols that can offer insights into your current state of mind and experiences.
Church: The church typically symbolizes a place of refuge, spirituality, or seeking guidance. It can represent your desire for safety and peace, possibly indicating that you are searching for spirituality or moral support in your life.
The Young Girls: The two girls represent innocence juxtaposed with threat. They may symbolize hidden fears or aspects of yourself that you find disturbing or troubling. The transformation from innocent children to sinister vampires suggests a fear of loss of innocence or betrayal.
Vampires: These creatures symbolize exploitation, fear, and losing control. They often embody a sense of being drained or taken advantage of, whether emotionally, physically, or mentally. This could indicate that you feel someone or something in your life is consuming your energy or resources.
Locked Bathroom: Seeking safety in a bathroom stall indicates a desire for privacy and protection. However, being trapped there suggests you may feel cornered by your fears or pressures in your waking life. The inability to escape could imply feelings of helplessness regarding a situation or person.
Needles and Blood: Needles typically represent invasiveness or vulnerability. The act of having your blood taken repeatedly can symbolize feelings of being exploited or used until you feel empty or drained. The blood itself may represent your life force or energy being taken from you, highlighting personal boundaries being violated.
The Offer: The sinister proposal to find victims for the vampires reflects feelings of moral compromise or the pressure to conform to demands that conflict with your values. It suggests an internal conflict about what you’re willing to sacrifice or the lengths you’ll go to satisfy others.
Fear and Awakening: The fear you felt upon waking indicates the strong emotional impact this dream has on you. Such dreams can be a call to confront situations in your life where you feel threatened, manipulated, or overwhelmed.
In summary, your dream could reflect underlying feelings of fear regarding vulnerability, exploitation, and a struggle with boundaries in your waking life. It may be beneficial to reflect on any current relationships or situations that make you feel drained or pressured. Addressing these feelings or circumstances might help alleviate some of the anxiety you've experienced in the dream.
